Something about me:
Having worked for many years in the Education and Environmental fields, I experienced a call to ministry in my 50s. An aha moment after speaking at an environmental education conference helped me to realize that my work in ecophilosophy and culture change had always contained a spiritual thread, and now, that focus needed to become more central. I am currently completing my Masters of Divinity at Vancouver School of Theology and am the intern minister with Vancouver Unitarians.
Preparation for ministry and spiritual direction has been a great adventure enabling me to combine a tenderness for each person’s journey with a life-long commitment to making the world a better place. I am intrigued to understand the world through the lens of each person who I accompany, and am passionate about creating safe spaces where people can show up as their whole, authentic self. My own sense of spiritual connection is ignited through dance, writing and immersing in nature.
